What is Giclee?
August 6, 2018
A world apart but only fifty nine miles
Open fields with gates and styles
Flowing rivers to dip your feet
And a new person who likes to keep things quite neat
Charlie made friends but now is unsure
When met by Penny standing defiant at the door
New digs for Harry but his company are sheep
He's bothered by flies but we smother him in deet
Back at the house I needed a space
To paint and print at a furious pace
So lots of measuring and ideas were thrown in
And slowing the transformation would begin
Lots of hammer and saw used on the shed
Cups of tea and meals to keep him fed
A few weeks later the build was done
Hard work, but actually quite fun
A fabulous place with a great garden view
Where I often paint for an hour or two
Finding time to bike and run
Which Charlie thinks is so much fun
Canoeing rivers and mountains to climb
I'm thinking Herefordshire is quite a find
Thinking of my family and the City I know
But now its time to move on and grow....
I'm busy working on my blog posts. Watch this space!
