"Thelma and Louise" is my pig painting. I photographed these pigs at the Royal Welsh Show.
Please look at the first three photographs to see my paper prints. You will notice that they differ slightly from my original in that they have a plainer green background rather than the vergetation that is seen in the background of the original painting.
Original oil painting
My original painting measures 27.5 x 19.7 inches and is painted onto canvas board. You can see it above in the last five photographs. Please note that it has more deail in the background than the prints have. It has slight damage to one of its edges (please see last photograph.) This is been caused by my turning the canvas upside down whilst painting the picture. This shouldn't be problematic as when it is framed, this can be covered. Altrnatively, if you would like us to trim half an inch off the right of the picture to give it a neater edge, we can do this. Just ask if you have any queries.
Thank you for lookiing at my pig painting.
"Thelma and Louise" the pig painting
Our Paper Prints Our pig painting giclee paper prints come just as they are, unframed. They are printed with giclee inks onto premium quality "torchon" paper. They come in a choice of two sizes, 7 x 5 inches and 8 x 10 inches. We have specifically chosen these measurements as there is such a wide choice of beautiful frames to choose from in these sizes. Our prints come with a narrow white border.
Our Canvas Prints. Our pig painting giclee canvas prints are ready to hang. You do not need to frame them. They are printed onto our premium quality cotton canvas. The canvas is then wrapped around wooden stretcher bars of 2cm width. This "frameless" way of presenting the picture gives it a very contemporary feel and the appearance of "floating" on the wall.
What is Giclee? Giclee prints are the choice of art galleries, museums and collectors. To find out more about giclee paper and canvas prints, please take a look at our page "What is Giclee?"
We have a "no quibble" returns policy. Please see our "Customer Support" page for details.
